A girl making her mark on the ADP 1 container in Exchange Street Car Park, Macclesfield.

The community in Macclesfield put on a creative and curious stop for the tour. Local artists were engaged from start to end: Ralph McGaul created a woodcut of the 1812 potato riot and prints of this helped fund the stop; on the opening night Mayoress Alift Harewood-Jones launched the ADP with a bottle of locally brewery Red Willow Brew; there was a 'domestic commotion' percussion performance on white goods by Several Unidentified Males, lead by John Hartshorn; "The Price of Potatoes" poetry written and performed by Mark Rawlins and a Q & A with Jimmy Cauty.

On Saturday 19th November there was a full day of events. Hundreds of placards were created by members of the public, coordinated by Ailsa Holland. A new map of the world was drawn by dozens of contributors, facilitated by Becca Smith. Questions on the topic of Rioting and Macclesfield were buried by Neil Puttick and were uncovered by members of the public and discusssed. A wall of food was collected and donated to Silklife Food Bank. Live music and poetry was performed throughout the afternoon and a pop up rave with DJ's Johnstone McGuckian and Si Lock finished a day.

The ADP was in Macclesfield from the 15th - 21st November.
